The plan of Tehran Sixth Water Treatment Plant is designed to supply part of the drinking water of the western region of Tehran.
The raw water of this project is supplied from Amirkabir dam lake on Karaj river. The treatment plant has a capacity of 15 cubic meters per second and is located in the northwest of Tehran. The proposed process is conventional surface water treatment including coagulation, coagulation, separation, settling and disinfection.
