Project Description :
Drinking water supply of Khuzestan cities has long been one of the main projects of that province, which have been implemented in several phases to finally reach the required capacity. Due to the development of cities and population growth, as well as the existing forecasts in part of the general plan for drinking water supply in Khuzestan province, emergency water supply to the cities of Abadan and Khorramshahr with a capacity of 25.0 cubic meters per second was proposed. The project includes 140 km of pipeline (GRP, ductile and asbestos cement 250 to 700 mm), 3 pumping stations and a concrete ground tank with a total volume of 20,000 cubic meters.
