Pardis Petrochemical Complex, consisting of three phases of urea ammonia, is located in the special area of South Pars, Assaluyeh. Currently, Phase 1 and Phase 2 of this complex are in operation and Phase 3 is in the design and construction stages.
The process of urea and ammonia units is such that there is a need to dissipate heat as part of the process. This heat is taken from the complex by water in a closed loop and transferred to seawater in an open loop system. Finally, it is transferred to the sea through water intake on the south shore of the campus complex.
Pardis Petrochemical Complex, in line with its development plan and implementation of design and construction stages of phase 3, intends to expand this reservoir, so that the current capacity of 44,000 cubic meters per hour of the reservoir will increase to a capacity of 76,000 cubic meters per hour to heat dissipation Of the whole phase 3 and the urea part of phase 2. In this regard, studies and engineering design to increase the dewatering capacity of the platform, as well as open and closed circuit system and workshop engineering services related to this issue, are defined in the contract.
