Project Description :
The objectives of this water supply project for the central and southern cities of Khuzestan province include: Ahvaz, Abadan, Khorramshahr and Shadegan, as well as the cities of Shush, Susangard, and other cities and villages along the route.
The main components of this plan with three priorities: The first priority (water supply plan to Abadan and Khorramshahr cities through MC1 canal) and the second priority (water supply plan from Pai Pol canal in Amoldabs to Ahvaz and Shadegan) and the third priority (water supply plan from Dez to Amaldebus diversion dam and Andimeshk roadside cities) designed. The components of this project include catchment pumps, treatment plants, pressure pumping pumps, storage tanks, bedding operations, piping and access road construction. The total population is about 7.4 million people and the total flow of the project is 24 cubic meters per second, which includes about 880 km of transmission line with ST and GRP pipes in the diameter of 800 to 2400 mm.
